    Smile Maxfield 250 games

Stewie Maxfield will have 250 games up in Round 12 against Bulldogs.
That will be the drive to win that one irrespective of what happens to Dogs this week in Perth.
Stew was on 2UE last night taking calls - handled it all perfectly and commentators said how good he did - wouldn't know he didn't like talking. How well he has adapted to being Captain.
    Love those Swans

Geez that came on quickly. What an effort. I reckon every kid round the club should model themselves on this bloke...work work work...

    250 games...that's just awesome!

A great achievement for a fine player. He has been great as captain this year, a good choice indeed. Always comfortable when Maxxie gets the ball.

250 games is a great achievement and knowing how fit you are and how much of a champion you are you will cruise past 300 games easily!
You have been a tremendous leader and captain this year and I hope you lead us for much much longer to come!

Congratulations Stewie. A top captain and role model.

Just love your last quarters when you always seem to find something, that in our game is one of the true indicators of a leader.

    Regards
    Nico.

CONGRATULATIONS on 250 games and also on captaining the boys in red and white so admirably this year! Keep up the good work!

You have always been my favourite swans player, and I have always greatly enjoyed watching the ball fly off that left foot of yours -- either through the goals or with pinpoint accuracy into the forward 50.

Well done! and good luck against the doggies!

    Stewie,

You're a great club man, we're fortunate to have you on our side. As our captain it's been a great run. I admire your commitment, your zeal and your leadership. Go the Swans!

Might as well put my $0.022 in

Stuie, you're a credit to the club and yourself. It's great to hear about your professionalism on the track - good luck for the 250 and tear those dogs apart!

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....
