Swans coach Paul Roos has been involved in more close games than anybody in the history of the game. Roos' team was involved in three finals last year - including the grand final - which were settled by less than a kick.
However, during the loping defender's time with Fitzroy and then Sydney he played eight games that were won by a point and seven that were lost by the same margin.
He also managed to be involved in five drawn matches.
"When you are involved in so many games I suppose you are going to be in a few close ones," Roos said yesterday.
"But I never knew it was that many.
"I can't even remember some of those draws."
Roos denied that he took up meditation because of the frequency of tight finishes he has been involved in.
