Posting this one cause it does pretty much summarise what went wrong today.
Like a lot of the threads on here I was angry at what we saw out there today. I did not walk out early but I did show some anger at the team as they walked off. As Maxy said it wasn't soft or weak but it was dumb dumb dumb.
And for those questioning the coaches game plan I think he makes it pretty clear that this wasn't necessarily the problem today.
Sydney captain, Stuart Maxfield, believes the Swans played dumb football in their 13-point loss to Richmond in wet, windy conditions at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday.
Coach Paul Roos called it the worst loss this season and questioned everything from his players? fitness to their ability to understand the game plan.

?Every loss is tough,? Paul Roos said after the game.
?It was a pretty scrappy game, the conditions were not great so I don?t think anyone expected great footy but we were beaten in the end by a better team.
?Of the three (losses), today is probably the most disappointing.
?Probably today we just didn?t play that much good footy, whether that is the conditions you just have to go over the tape and just see why.?
Sydney held a one goal advantage into the first and second breaks before Richmond?s enigmatic full-forward, Matthew Richardson led the visitors to victory with a seven goal haul.
?Richo? booted two in the third quarter and handed Darren Gaspar one - while the home side was held to one major when they were aided by the breeze.
A clearly frustrated Roos spoke rather animatedly to his players at the final break, urging them to remember his instructions prior to the match and again at halftime.
?We put things in place and I explained it to them again.
?They were not carried out so I was just trying to get across whether the blokes just didn?t really understand? I was just trying to get my point across on how we are actually trying to play the game.?
Although a Barry Hall?s third goal early in the final quarter gave Sydney back the lead, it was fleeting as Nathan Brown topped off a terrific match to hand back the reins to the Tigers while Richardson?s seventh handed Sydney their third consecutive loss.
?There are some players at the moment, whether they are not fit enough or whether they are just not working hard enough,? Roos said of the lack of run and effort in the final term.
?But there are certainly a lot of players going through patches of games without touching it or working hard enough. Whether that is a fitness thing or whether that is just a bit of laziness, it is certainly an issue.?
Maxfield felt the team addressed their problems from last week but created new challenges to work on this week ahead of their match against West Coast at Subiaco Oval.
?The positives are we were pretty hard at it, the stoppages were better, we were hitting hard at the ball and that is what we needed to address from last week,? Maxfield said.
?But we just played dumb footy, I think, in those conditions. To allow their forward line to be that open wasn?t a real smart move.
?Our transition wasn?t great. It is probably a combination of things. We won the footy then turned it over and they just got us on the fast break every time.?
