Rocket, I dont know if you follow the league or not but as I understand it St.George are already without 4 or 5 of their best 10-12 and have been missing these players for a while now. The worst excuse in footy is "if we had a full list", teams at any level rarely do and you have to play with who is available. Good effort though. You'll get there little guy. I believe in you.
BS, From what you say it would seem that if the game was not well and truly in hand that you would understand such a comment to be made as the one that has been accused of the St.George bench. What does it matter what shape the game is taking?? Besides, this trouble guy is obviously setting out to discredit a club off the field that discredited his on the field. (It's 07 now too sir, so quit living in the past, 06 is gone and EC blew it then anyway)

Aaaallsooooo, I'm not sure how he would be aware of a clubs financial situation and what it has to do with anyone outside league administration. If the club is in fact in debt, how would he know? In any event it's irrelevant.

Then of course there is the question of DOES ANYBODY SERIOUSLY THINK THAT IF THIS WAS SAID THAT IT WAS MEANT!!!!!!!!! Can it be seriously considered that anyone actualy hoped this guy would die? What a joke. I will stick to my theory of sour grapes, tall poppy syndrome etc, etc.

Oh and Brian, it's a long way from the canteen to the bench at St.George's ground, did you actually hear it being said?...........................

as you understand, or as you know? 4 or 5 of their best 10-12? i never said, "if we had a full list" or anything like that, i plainly stated fact. 4 or 5 of their best 10-12....lets just throw a blanket over the lot shall we? and how long has this been going on for? your close enough to the club, you should know. although, looking through the sydney afl website, doesnt look like too many of your 10-12 players have been out together, all missing 1 game for the year except for a couple who have missed 3 and 6...
i thought it was a good effort too...better than yours.

HB, can understand how you would be still fuming over being caught out re the nut grabbing issue.

Real quality reading there? I back up what TD said it's the lowest act other than kicking!

Further more great quality club @ penno 4 reports this season for Abusive and Threatening Conduct toward an umpire for a total of 16 weeks.
    Wouldn't happen @ St.G.

Acting on an official complaint from the club involved is being precious is it?

Making false accusations can be libellous, and the owners of the site do not wish to take any risks as far as legal action is concerned. As most of us have no idea about the running of most of the Sydney clubs, especially their financial positions, it is best to stick to facts that can be backed up with proof, rather than rumours.

If anyone can back up the claims made in the OP, then I will be more than happy to reinstate the comments.

If Rooboy has posted "libelious rubbish", then please feel free to report the post/s.

Please feel free to PM me to discuss this matter further.

    Mr Durden,

You obviously didn't read my post, did you sit with the muss at school. I never once mentioned your financial situation, I am sure the Sydney AFL has a better understanding of this than me (loose lips sink Navies). I realise that you did however get made to pay Garns what he was entitled to which was very sporting of you. I am sure the $4.95 card from hallmark you would have sent as well wouldn't have put you into any financial catstrophy. I did state on my post however that I did walk past the bench on the way to the canteen. I was sitting in the forward pocket (observing for a friend) on the eastern side of the ground and decided that something to eat would nice. You would be more familiar than I of the paddocks canteen but I did infact think that the bench was located on my right as I was heading toward the facility. Being not far from the fence as I was thinking about my food choice I heard the exact conversation that Trouble posted. If you would like to take the time to re read my post I also said that the game was in hand. I know this site is famous for it's lack of truth but I just thought it was worth mentioning that my post was infact truthful and your savaging of my post was not. For what it's worth I thought your team totally outplayed ECE on the weekend and thoroughly deserved their win. What was even better for you guys I suppose was that you had 22 registered players playing which was great sportsmanship. Keep up the good work St George.

as for ece, embarassment and pathetic dont come to mind. ok, so the last few weeks they have had a little bit of a lull in form, but i think the only embarrassment is you for shootin your mouth off. take away a couple of key players from the st george outfit, maybe dugmore and donohue, and i think you would agree they would fall away also..maybe to the point of embarrassment, as stated by you.. and that is only taking two players away.
Totally agree. ECE in my opinion still have one of the best lists in the comp and injuries have certainly hurt them this year. Their midfield is full of quality players and their forward line on their day can produce massive scores.

Although rooboy, and his merry men will probably tell you otherwise.

You have obviously chosen to take this out on St.George because they have just about sealed your coffin after the pathetic effort to keep your season alive on Sunday.

I was at the game also on the weekend and happened to be heading to the canteen when the statement was made. Trouble was spot on with his accusations. I would presume that with the game well and truly in hand the crows coaching staff would not wish Ryan Fitton ( a ball player from what I have seen) to actually die on the field. No question St George were the better side on the day (ECE of 06 would still beat them by 8-12 goals) but their behaviour was far from the best on the day.
