But whom would Goodsey replace? Surely not Fossie.

I'll do it myself as I don't think it's quite so clear cut.

        Crouch - Glass - Barry

        Wirripunda - C. Bolton - Kennelly

        Cousins - Judd - Kerr

        Goodes - Hall - O'Keefe

        Buchanan - O'Loughlin - Davis

        Cox, Kirk, J. Bolton

        Ball, Hunter, Embley, Stenglein.

Stenglein has to be a query Fosdike is a better player Jolly over Ball I think Ball was secondary to Jolly last year

I think Ball is a better around the ground player than Jolly, so probably makes a better or more versatile second ruck.

I think Stenglein was pretty good last year - adds offence and defence.

I can't see Fosdike is an automatic pick. He played really well in the GF, but his form has been so inconsistent for so long I'd want to see him produce a good season.

If I took out Stenglein I'd put Williams in.

I agree. What do you think I'm doing in Taiwan?

This is why I don't have favourite players. If pushed I'd probably choose the Spriggs bandwagon as being tall, I could do with the extra leg room.

                    Thanks for the replies.

D'oh! That's what happen when you go by memory.

Braun should have been in the unlucky bracket.

Of course Goodes is in the team...sorry.

                    In Goodes out...um Fletcher.

                    Wasn't Fletcher All Australian, though?

NMW we're now close to identical. Surely Williams is better than Stenglein? Apart from that you have Hunter over Sampi. M'eh!

Sampi was not much good in the GF but I do reckon he has shown enough.

Yeah - it sort of proves your point doesn't it!

Not sure about Williams. A year earlier I would have said definitely over Stenglein, but I was sure Stenglein had a very good year and Williams was just that fraction slower than in the past (unsurprisingly). Line ball I guess.

I think Fletcher's problem is that he has performed very well during the H&A season but has struggled in the pressure of finals. I think that should count against him.

Sampi is enormously talented but just doesn't do enough.

Another way of saying it is that Fletcher looks a million bucks when the big stars are dominating but looks ordinary when he is required to actually help get the team over the line.
