Caro's Debut

Impressive first up performance by Caroline Wilson on WLF tonight. I know she cops some flak from people here for her Age articles (most of the journos do) but thought she was excellent tonight - more impressive than Rocket Eade last night.

Kept Wallace honest, gave a different angle to the usual footy talking heads & a damn sight more interesting/credible than her Age colleague Sheahan on OTC.

Good luck to her.

Tiff Cherry will remain however my footy fantasy chick.

She looked silly when she went on about Riccuito not attending the Hall of Fame presentation.

I don't mind Caro tho' in general. Agree she certainly gives a different perspective. I liked that she drilled straight thru the lack of substance in Demetrious address.

OK, I resile from my previous position - last nite was something of a low point for WLF with Jack Elliott & Caro trying to show off as to who had the most inside goss on who was actually running the AFL.

As others have noted above, she might love AFL but it ain't the game that she loves.

I note from Big footy that poor old Caro tipped 0 from 8! Now I don't bother participating in tipping competitions any more coz I'm sick of being beaten by the Armenian janitor who's never seen a game in his life, but when it's actually your profession the tipping bagel's gotta hurt doesn't it?

She is more worried about backroom politics (did anyone mention she talks about Richmond 95% of the time) that the actual matches I reckon. She is NO football expert, as her tips indicate.

Did she honestly think Carlton Freo or Essendon would get up this weekend?!
