    Gardiner in a huff

Coach John Worsfold said the 2003 All-Australian had been told he could return to the club at any time as long as he was prepared to show the same professionalism as the rest of the team.

Damningly, Gardiner is yet to agree to those conditions, fuelling speculation that he may have played his last game for the Eagles.
You reckon we might bend the "no d|ckheads" rule when we finish out of the eight?

he's finished with the coasters - wont play another game for them

wouldnt surprise me if we had a crack at him as we need a ruckmen and maybe the change will bring the best out of him

but i dont think he'll pass the test

He does seem to be exactly the sort of self-important type that Sydney works wonders for.

        Scapegoat.

Clearly not just an indigenous issue.

Perhaps we could offer them Chambers & Spriggs in a package deal?

The Coasters themselves are as one with remembering and rueing his being picked to play in the GF - when for weeks he was cr_p on and off the training track. The match itself summed it all up .. his career is over.

At least he had a trade to fall back on - criminal.

Gardiner's career aim is to be the next John Kizon - not an AFL superstar.

I'd be asking why Cox wasn't shifted to FF at some stage of the GF.

Gardiner into the ruck and Cox at FF may have been the difference.

I'm expecting to take over the entire operation by the end of the season.
