    The Footy Show

    Did anyone tape it last night?

    I didn't get a chance to watch it, but I heard a whisper that Trevor Marmalade "borrowed" one of my designs for an alternative Collingwood strip.

    Would love to know if someone (preferably Melb. based) has a copy of the tape

          The only difference was it still had the black and white vertical stripes behind your toothy grin.

                  Say what you want about the Ed, but the pack of second stringers running it now make me absolutely cringe. It's like going back in time to the seventies .. sheesh .. so bad.

                              If you go to the Nine MSN site you can get into the Footy Show archive and you can watch some short video clips from the show....they are selective but I must say I had a bit of chuckle watching some of the stuff. I'm normally too tired to watch the show on when it's on at a "night owl" time on Thursday night and I have tried taping it occasionally but it's too hard to get around to watching it before the weekend starts...

                                  One thing I have noticed is that its "almost" starting on time - in respect that when the league runs over time (as it always has) they don't now go straight to the news for half an hour .. further delaying proceedings.

                                  I've always allowed mega-time before and after on the video (now DVD recorder I'm glad to report). So maybe King Ed has had an Oz footy influence ???
