    Jason Saddington

Carlton supporters love kickin' a man when he's down. Of course, Sydney supporters would never do anything like that.

To be fair to them, most of their posts have been 'not in anger but in sorrow' type, suggesting that he just needs a few weeks in the seconds to improve form and fitness. Just like years of RWO posts before them...

    Sucked in Carlton.

Granted, he has not hit the ground running down there, but I think it's sad.
It's an idictment of the values of our club, more than anything.

I know circumstances worked against him and in the end he probably needed to move for his sake to get game time in the firsts. I was still sorry to see him go: he could have been a career Swan.

I watched some of this game last week (my Pies-loving missus insisted) - Saddo was just awful. He may rebound but you got the feeling that he could only play as well as the players around him - & at Carlton that ain't a good thing.

Couldn't agree more. Doubtless a player with talent, but tends to follow rather than lead the mood of the team. Carlton is probably the worst team he could have gone to (except for the fact that he won't need to play terribly well to get a game).
