My overwhelming view is what a waste.

You get seasons where everything goes right, right from preseason. From our recruiting to a largely fit list, to a hot start, to a guy having a season off the charts in Heeney, to guys like Melican finally coming good. to recovering from the game against Port, to other contenders continuing to fall away like Carlton, to the finals run . . . We had it all. And then that.

A pass mark to a few today: Rowie, Roberts, Grundy and Fox, and maybe Jordon for at least cooling the two blokes he was sent to.

But there was an overall malaise. 45 tackles? WTF. I’d hate to see our pressure rating. And some of the defensive application putrid. I don’t want to single one bloke out but he summed it up, and that’s Errol. A few times on the wing he cheated by trying to hand off to teammates in no position to cover, and then not covering Ashcroft in the f50 stoppage in the third where Ashcroft snapped a goal.

I think we still have a good window ahead, but there are some hard decisions to be made to take advantage of it.

Agree on those who stood up per my earlier post. What are the hard decisions?

Yeah, it will be a long spring and summer but I'll be back here next season.....no way I'm jumping off the Swannies.

In fact, I'll be here on occasions over that long spring and summer. Always entertaining witnessing people losing their sh8T.....and of course, reading mature posts that makes sense.

          Bye for now.

Clearly, it's a mental problem as we can play hard, contested footy with great skills for a lot of the season. We wouldn't have made so many GFs and even
finished first on the ladder if we weren't capable of that. It's a major issue that we can lose those attributes so quickly. It's happened 3 times now in the last
11 years. I don't know the answer. I just wish someone at the club can figure this out. It might not be Longmire in the long run. In a way we're a bit like GWS.
They have thrown away opportunites two years in a row now.

              ? a waste
Hard to get a better lead in than that

Would have been shattered to lose by any margin but over before half just highlights previous trips to the big dance

If nothing else I'll have me money on whoever plays Sydney by more than 50 next time

Would blunt the edge a bit

What disappointments me was the effort based stats, players weren’t prepared to crack in and that’s all attuide it just didn’t mean enough to them and that was clear

1 loss is heart ache 4 is devastation

How we consistently can't show up is embarrassing. Over before the half for a team that has look invincible. Its hard to trust anything they throw up during the year will translate to anything when it matters

You misquote, misrepresent, project and bully - what's to want to know?

In addition it's your penchant for labelling anyone that fails to hold the same views as you as an inferior/disloyal fan - that's the clincher for me.

My cat doesnt give a continental who won .
                              i wish I didnt.
                              .
So so flat , yet of all those epic wins this yr have
                              given much pleasure.
Its so hard to make a Granny, then you have to
prepare for a different contest altogether.
                              It sucks .

5 GFs is huge, Longmire is 3 games in 300 from being the greatest of all time

I think the Pies and Cats dealt with the same BS, hard to reconcile when we were a better side, Ramps is that same as all of us atm, he feels the waste of it.

I remember seeing Stan Magro at a player night saying if GFs went his way you would have seen us on TV
