Yes, I can be opinionated but I don't think I attack anyone personally or unreasonably. As I said, they have a right to disagree with me and I will take it on the chin if they do.

Having said that, I will try in future to get my point across in a way that doesn't offend 'anyone'.
Hi Stevo, you have most definitely swore at me when you disagreed with something I said before the site went down for weeks. But you did apologise when I said that was offensive/belittling.

As I said, you have the right to express your views about the club, just like anyone else here. I for one, just think you cross the line when you cuss other posters, or make out that they are foolish etc if their view is different to yours..

A true supporter doesn’t leave our club due to failure in a GF- even after an insipid and embarrassing performance we’ve experienced these last 3 times. You’re either a supporter or you’re not- I’m afraid it’s that simply really Barry. It’s your choice, just like for all of us, but before you leave our beloved club, please have a good look in the mirror!

Why is it that so many of those keen on defining who is and who isn't a "true supporter" - and then giving it to those that don't measure up - seem to have arrived after the last flag?

Maybe the club might choose to take action against the players, but it sounds as though they were ok with what happened.

So I swore at you (?).....which actually is not allowed on RWO and as I was not warned in any way by the mod's, I'll have to just take your word for it.....it was a long time ago. I'm glad I apologised anyway.

However, my actual claim was that I have never told anyone they are not real Swans fans or belittled them personally in a reply to someone's quote. I have disagreed with them, vehemently at times....so if this or 'swearing' is 'belittling', I will have to reassess my understanding of what is offensive these days.

A footy forum, by it's nature, cannot be a conflict free zone. Maybe some on here should, much like our team and club are being asked to, toughen up a little.....while some, me obviously, can be a little more subtle.

                Hopefully we now move on.

Not sure what you're getting at here. You seem to be making a correlation between length of time as a Bloods supporter and length of time as a RWO contributor.

There are plenty of RWOers who were supporting the Swans before the internet was invented, so yep that'd be a silly correlation if I'd made it - but I didn't actually make that correlation at all.

I just noticed that those RWOers who have shared a flag (or 2 in some cases) with their fellow RWOers in this specific online environment (as distinct from the real). A cursury look suggests they don't seem so keen on defining and consigning other RWOers to a sub group.

Just off season wool gathering - not ready to present these findings to the Royal Society just yet.
