General footy chat Round 7: the other games.

Melbourne v Richmond tonight, kicks off what seems to me to be a fairly uninspiring round of football. Maybe the Giants v Bulldogs on Saturday is the pick of the games. Of course, Anzac Day at the G, is an event that is appreciated by many, but I'm of the opinion, that because it is an event, then perhaps it should be shared around. That is, instead of it being Collingwood v Essendon every year, maybe it should be played by the highest placed Victorian teams from the previous season. Which would make it more likely to be a quality game. Of course, Essendon would be strongly against that, because to qualify, you'd probably have to win a final.

The Dons are the most pathetic club in the comp, mainly because they’re the one ‘big’ Melb club that hasn’t worked out you can’t run the joint like a mates joint anymore. The Roos and Saints will always struggle, and to a degree the dogs too, as they’re not as financially wealthy. But the Dons are a @@@@ show, yet arrogant smugs too. Boo hoo to them.

Some "highlights" from the Port-Roos game.

It's fun to watch this with the volume muted and with Yackety Sax playing.

Why couldn't Port have played like this last week?
