Match Thread Round 7: Swans v Suns.

Currently a warm 28° with a moderate breeze. Slight chance of a shower at around half time and a slight chance of a storm late.

Hanily is our sub and it's Budarick for the Suns.

I'm really starting to wish that I could start one of these match threads, stating that I'm confident of a win, but alas, injuries have robbed us of any consistency this season, and we've only played a good quarter here and a good quarter there. The Suns have played some very good football this season, apart from their surprise loss to Richmond last game. So, I'm sure they'll be keen to redeem themselves.

But of course, we'll also be keen not to slip further down the table, and we do have the class to cause an upset.

A team effort is needed- simple as that. Please no passengers and certainly no more injuries!

Some more accuracy in front of goal would help. Also a 4 quarter effort. Not expecting to win on form but want to see effort.

          Ladder positions round 6.

          Suns opponents this year: 18th (W), 17th (W), 16th (W), 15th (L), 5th (W).
          Swans opponents this year: 16th (W), 10th (L), 9th (W), 7th (L), 2nd (L), 1st (L).

Suns have had slightly easier opposition so far this year. Game could be closer than the ladder positions suggest.

GC were not impressive last week- But they are pretty good at home. I'd expect them to win, but we look switched on and that was a lovely mark by Heeney...We might also be a bit more settled after Chad signed this week

Well we've come to play. Great early intent by Rowbottom.

I was thinking Ladhams was gonna miss that haha!

Don't like that playing for a free kick from Corey Warner

It'd be nice if we could keep this clearance domination going.

Heeney can make very tough contested marks look simple.

McInerney does that terrible dinky turnover kick 1-2 times every week. Insane he hasn't corrected his lax kicking style.

Chad seems like he wants to justify his contract.
