We don't have any Swans Academy players listed in the top 30.

This can all change of course, being early days and alot to play out.
    I think you'll find those draft picks add up to just under 1,400pts (36=502pts, 39=446pts, 44=362pts, 67=69pts).

Rookie Me have explained the rules regarding how Tasmania will be able to build their list, in a clearer and more comprehensive manner than the AFL site.

I’d be amazed at the Click Bait $1-1.2m pa to any club for Joel

we probably will have to be closer to $700k pa though otherwise he maybe able to attract $900k pa elsewhere if he continues his form this year and kicks 50 plus goals for the season

Joel is in that small cluster of rare tall forwards who has more upside for sure

if Hamish moves on we need to keep Joel at the right price

Throwing money at players just because St Kilda is doing it is asking for trouble. St Kilda is not a well-run club. If they were, they would have won more than one premiership in 130 years.

Apparently we have a 5 x $700k offer in front of Armatey, who is currently baulking this, despite his desire to stay.

No way is Amartey worth anywhere near $1.2m. I'd say goodbye to Armatey if his management continues to play hardball.

We need to have room in our cap space to re-sign star players coming out of contract next year.

Kane Cornes reckons our offer is fair and have Mclean ready to take his spot, who is struggling to get a game this year.

I think we'll lose either of them at season's end.
With his body, the longer he holds out the riskier it gets for him not us.

Over the following two years, we have to re-sign elite level talent Isaac, Chad, Grundy, Errol, McCartin, and Papley, let alone a host of best 22 players like Serong, Jordan, Edwards, Wicks and so on.

If Joel thinks he can get that elsewhere, good luck to him, but it won’t be at a club that has both a no1 key forward to take pressure off him AND a midfield capable of matching the delivery he gets from ours.

At that price, let him walk. I really like him as a player, even if he is up and down, but he isn't worth remotely that - especially given the coin we've already got locked up in Curnow.

Chad Warmer is going to be on Ch 7 Unfiltered. Just read a paywall sneak peak, where Chad reveals he was ready to leave Sydney last year coming out of contract, till Dean Cox convinced him otherwise.

Reckons he and his GF are now settled in Sydney more than ever and loving it. Wants to return to WA at some stage, but now isn't sure whether it will be in 18 months when current contract expires or post his footy career.

Carlton's List Manager stood down today, so not sure who there is making the Armatey approach? If hypothetically, Armatey does chase tbe bigger $$$$ at Carlton, i wouldn't mind making a bid for Cripps in return.

He is a big bodied midfielder that we lack and would flourish without the burden he‘s had to carry. Would relish playing for team in premiership window outside the Melb bubble.

He would be good insurance for Chad leaving at end of next season and provide time for Harry Kyle to develop and take over that role.

He will be an UFA at end of next year as 32yo but may seek trade this year.
Hoping the Chad stays but...... If WC came with big money for him, we should throw a big long term deal at Gibney as a counter.

WA teams have made us put up money for a while now, we should throw it back at them.
