Team List Team Selection R2 v Hawthorn @ MCG

I'm expecting Heeney won't be risked with his hammy coming off a 5 day break. Gulden, we sadly know. No mention of Logan in the Iatest Injury Update, but read elsewhere he pulled up with sore calf after the game. Not to also be risked imo.

IWould love to see Harry Kyle debut, but not sure if he's ready yet. His time will come soon i should think.

Thinking Mills may get run time in the midfield and Serong on the wing.

    In: Cleary, Cunningham, Maclean
    Out: Gulden, Heeney, Logan

I haven't read of Logans injury. But that would be a shame.

I think you maybe right that we may go into this game with Cleary, Cunningham and Maclean.
I think Cunningham is a no brainer. Not sure if we need a second ruck option if Logan is injured against Hawthorn and as a result Ladhams will be preferred.
Less sure about Cleary but I think he would be preferred over Kyle.

But the injury count could go north if we continue with this 5th gear footy. I think we need to find some different gears to our game within the quarters and not have to go full throttle every minute.
I think we can win this one if we can stop their run given we are way better than Essendon in our defence and I am sure we would be fired up given our utter dominant performance in the first 2 rounds and a 4th round bye.

I agree Mills to have more mid-time, so Serong to play more in defence. Cunningham to come into the team to add to defence options

I would favour Corey Warner to play wing; he has the speed and endurance.

mcLean to be the 3rd "in" as Hawthorn play 2 rucks
