    Round 6: the other games.

The round starts tonight with a clash of the old enemies, Collingwood and Carlton. One of those games where if the quality of the game isn't great, it still might be worth watching, just to observe the feral fans going at each other. Not really sure who I want to win? On the one hand, I wouldn't mind seeing Collingwood slip further into the lower reaches of the table. On the other hand, watching Carlton sink further into crisis does appeal. Actually, go Carlton crisis!.

Probably the stand out match of the round is tomorrow night's game between the Cats and the Dogs. Shame it's on at the same time as our match with the Giants.

It's possible all the other games will be blow-outs. If the tipsters on the AFL site are anything to go by, they're going 12-0 in their predictions.

I'm with you. Greatly enjoying watching Carlton tear itself apart and a loss to its hated enemy would really accentuate the problem!!

The big question is - is Daisi going to the game?

Looks like Anderson is becoming the player, that we were hoping he'd become in his draft year. Shame it's for Collingwood. Oh well, I suppose that there’s the go home factor.

Now I'm trying to think of players we've signed, where going home may have been a factor. Are Nick Davis and Tony Armstrong the only ones?

Anyone backing Carlton to chase down a one point quarter time deficit?

Well, I did mean by full-time. Now I'm not sure if Collingwood's dysfunctional forward line can make up the 14 points.

                Can they hang on??

Normally I'd say no, but Collingwood's attack is pretty dire.

Carlton up by 3 goals at 3/4 time and - I can't believe I'm writing this because I hate them with a passion - they deserve to get the 4 points.

                    But then again..........

I've got a certain amount of respect for the Carlton fans who showed up tonight, when there was every chance that the recurring nightmare would continue.

Although, that Ainsworth goal gives them some sort of chance.

Hayward’s haircut is an act,of,self-sabotage and clearly a coded sign for help at being shuffled off to Carlton

Quite an amusing end. Byrne should have given away a free, for the high contact on J Daicos, then he got a free for dropping to the ground after a retaliatory shove, then totally blew his chance to be the last kick hero.

Next week he might have the hairdresser shave out a Swan pattern.
