There’s an interview with Jai Serong on the Swans website where he talks about the goal, and how when everyone was going nuts, Mills and Lloyd ignored the celebrations and ran straight towards the interchange to get messages from the coaches. Very clever, and whilst I’m sure the players train for those moments, good to see two mature heads get reinforcement of the instructions.

Ladhams is pretty average as a forward but he is greatly improved as a mark and ball user. Still an iffy kick but he would have been a far better option than Melican. I would be ticked off if he did not get a call up next week when we play is former side, Port.
Have we disagreed in the past? Surely not! LOL!

I thought that was excellent, and it reflected well on Jai that he recognised that as a key thing to highlight (it didn't sound like sucking up, it sounded like genuine "I can learn something there" stuff).
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
