Finally took a good mark down back too. It's that kind of play we've been needing from him all game every game.

Bally doesn't need to teach Jols how to tap a ball, needs to instruct him on when to be there for a nice defensive mark or a be that surprise tall in attack.

He could learn from LRTs aggression in the last quarter. He made it his business to force the ball forward and into attack.

The test will be different this week with 2 regular ruckmen to face our boys.

He held it, but it looked like it bounced of his face into his arms. At least he got himself in the right position.

I thought Roos might've dropped him into FF, for a while while LRT was rucking. Just to upset the Freo defence balance a bit. Might be worth trying against Adelaide.

Had a shocker on Saturday night. Freo didnt have a recognised ruck in their team, just a makeshift one in Longmuire. Yet he still failed to have any impactr in the ruck. I cant remember a single hit out going to advantage. And when he had a clear chance to smash it forward, he couldnt even connect!
His 2nd efforts were pathetic. Someone give him a tape of the Hyphens game because THAT is how you ruck.

Actually some of his hitouts did go to advantage, but I do agree that overall his game, both in the ruck and around the ground, was very disappointing considering he was the only recognised ruckman on the ground.

Having said that though, Jolly did achieve his numbers in only about a half of football, which is still pretty reasonable, given he was injured just before half time.

                  Scottie's a chick?

He wasn't being angry and/or unreasonable anyway, so I don't why you'd say that.

Not as impressive as it sounds. These figures are largley due to the amount of stoppages in every Sydney game. The Swans have 477 hitouts for the season, while the total of each opponents hitouts amount to 491. This, as well as free's against, are the only areas Sydney aren't beating their opponent in.
