Davo/MOL

Thought Nick's game was very good on Saturday. Lots of second efforts and chasing tackling and scored a couple of very timely goals (ok missed one too)...

MOL is absolutely fabulous at the moment. His skills are superb. I know he's unfit and his body is just holding together but he is playing great footy ATM and is really leading from the front.

Unfortunately, the most important skill for a full forward is SERIOUSLY deficient for MOL.

That's the thing - MOL is not a FF. He has been played there because of lack of fitness, something which is the least of an issue its been for him for probably a good 4 years and which is why we've seen him play a lot more up the ground the last few weeks.

And he's playing far better as a result. MOL needs to rove. I thought he was brilliant on the weekend.

Also good to see a bit of 'spark' to Davo. He's been flat and out-of-sorts lately.

At first I thought 'yeah geat over it' when he jumped on the fence but in hindsight, it's a positive sign. Davo has the skills but sometimes his attitude pulls him up.

I agree, best game in ages. He just has to stop playing for free kicks. Putting on a sooky face obviously doesn't sway any umpires decisions, so please keep playing even if the free kick is there.
