I havent really been following the Crows, but I saw ex-Swan Stevens playing against the Cats. Hows he going ? Is he one we should have kept ?Comment

He's been going fairly well for them this year, although I get the feeling once the likes of Welsh, Bock and Perrie come back from injury, they will move McGregor back to CHB and that will leave Stevens out in the cold.Originally posted by barry

It's also worth noting that Stevens in now in his third year on the Crows list and it is only in the past month that he has put together consistent, valuable senior level football. Who knows whether he'll be able to sustain it, or - as Mike points out - whether he'll even be given the chance.Originally posted by Mike_B

Players move on, some to fall into oblivion, others to achieve reasonable success at their new clubs. Good luck to them if they do, but I don't see that having kept Stevens on the Swans list for the past 3 years would have made any signficant improvement to where we are at the moment.Comment

Rutten is a mature age type, Clarke & Biglands experienced, Burton seems to be around forever, Welsh the same.

They are an awesome combination of older champions, developing champions, good mid range players and potential young stars. I expect them to be up in the top 8 and always a threat for many more years to come.Occupational hazards:
