Does this mean Mrs gs14 can wear the Swans training jumper with 15 on the back then? Last time she wore it at the "G" we won the GF>Comment

perfect game to bring him back in test melbournes defence against a real big strong forward line
OUR FORWARDS - Hall, O'Loughlin, O'Keefe, Grundy?, Davis?, Doyle?
THERE DEFENDERS - Rivers, Carroll, Whelan, Holland, Wheatley
could even push Goodes forward, Bruce may go with him like he played on Brad Johnson a fortnight ago
i think we can kick a big score provided the weather is suitableBACK2BACKComment

Well, with Doyle a lock-in unless he trips on something in the next 3 or 4 days, Bucky looking more likely than not to get up, Crouch not likely to be forced to play a second game in the twos, and Nick Davis suddenly back in vogue, we've got a problem. That problem is: who goes?
Simon Phillips is a lock-in because he was playing Sat night on borrowed time anyway, and did little to change the selectors' minds. But beyond that, who do people nominate?
(Brett Kirk and Darren Jolly, of course, would have to be a huge chance to be dumped. I am so sick of those no-talent passengers. But I mean, y'know, apart from them.)Comment

I don't think Roos will make four changes in one week. That would be a fair disruption to a side that has been playing reasonably well.
Monty is, well, a monty to return if he's well enough.
Doyle sounds probable with the Dees being the first team we've faced for a while who have two ruckmen (which is quite ironic given that they survived with just White for so long, resulting in Jolly getting fed up and moving up to Sydney).
I reckon another week in the twos wouldn't do Crouch any harm, particularly with no Davey. And while the words on Davis are encouraging, Roos has been careful to be qualified with his comments.
My guess, then, is Monty and Doyle in this week, for Phillips and either Richards or Dempster (hopefully Richards). Schmidt to maybe get one more week.
Then against Geelong, Crouch and Davis to return for Schmidt and either Bevan or the survivor of Dempster and Richards.Comment

I agree with giving Crouch another week in the 2s. Once he's back there's no role for Bevan. Dempster has Bevo covered in just about every facet of the game.
So over the next 2 weeks
In: Buchanan, Crouch, Davis, Doyle
Out: Schmidt, Bevan, Phillips, RichardsComment

Doyle returns this week??STEPHEN Doyle probably will make his 2006 debut at the MCG on Saturday, but, given his history, it's way too soon to get excited.Comment
