    LRT on Lynch?

I think I can answer this one for myself, Leo will get the job!

I would still prefer LRT to get it though because once WCE start bombing it in long on Lynch's head or he starts on long leads, Leo won't have the stretch.

If the conditions are poor, then Leo might be the man for the job, but if it's a dry night, my preference is LRT.

    Thoughts?

It depends on where Lynch plays. I watched Staff's last game and Lynch went a roamin' like crazy, if he does that again then LRT is the man. Maybe even (increasingly, baby steps) Super Ted!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Leo on Lynch, with Ted filling the hole in front of him.

The test really will be Hunter, because if we dont take an extra tall (Grundy) then he wont be needed in defence.

In truth the Wirrapanda hammie is more important to them than the Judd groin. Without his defensive capabilities, we would certainly have won both of our last games over there (even if one 'tackle' on Goodes was illiegal).

Its a tough decision and it all depends if Embley plays and if Hunter goes up forward regarding the matchups

they have staker, lecras and rowan jones up there as well and i can't see hansen playing.

i would start with leo and hopefully lynch has a stinker of a night

super ted is going to be crucial to our backline so i hope he continues his recent good form

So who will C.Bolton match up on?

            Hunter usually takes MOL.

Actually Chick usually plays on MOL. Brett Jones did the job last time. I'm expecting Hunter up forward again and B2 will play on him.

C Bolts on Staker perhaps or even the new young kid called LeCras. Kicked 5 against a miserable Richmond Defense.

It was Hunter on Mick for most of the Grand Final apart from when he was sent forward.

Mick was touching him up in the contested stuff, he just couldn't kick over picket fence after he took all those great grabs.

Hunter will prbably get ROK til they need him up forward.
I doubt they can get away putting someone inexperienced or undersized on O'Loughlin but, cos he will murder them up the ground, just not in front of goal.
Glass will get Hall obviously and should be a good contest.

In our back half, I think the Hyph would be best on Lynch with Ted playing the spare man to take Hunter if he drifts forward. He doesnt hurt so much on a lead, but when he just runs ahead of play to get free up forward. Leo can take Jones so he can keep him accountable when not in possession, give C Bolts Hunter if he plays permanent up forward, or if not, Le Cras, so he can run off at times as the little fella wont be overly experienced at it.
Should be a super battle if we can nullify the midfields effect.

One of the papers today had Leo all primed for Lynch, but I agree that LRT might be a good option for him.

seeing as lynch is obviously the eagles' strongest player, shouldnt craig take him? cos i heard b2 was the strongest defender in our team. leo always gets outmuscled by the big boys

mind you the coat hanger that Bazza put on Wirrapanda in the grand Final wasnt exactly kosher

Mr Roos says that Leo is our man in the Goal square, So it depends on where Lurch wants to wander. I like the idea of Ted Richards as loose man in defence in front of him.
LRT has a wonderfull way of sticking to a forward like glad wrap. It will annoy Lynch., but it wont worry Hunter
