I don't have a problem with Roos informing Clarkson of Spida's actions. His decision to reveal it publicly however is strange, although there may more information that we are unaware of - e.g. the story has done the rounds of the media mafia and Roos was asked to confirm it.

Anyhow the lines were blurred with Spida because at the time he was managing himself - therefore there was no intermediary to do his bidding.

I don't think we'll bother trading for Spida. Jolly has emerged as a premier ruckman and Donk is playing injury free and *touch wood* will be even better with a full pre-season under his belt.

Hopefully we tell Spida we're only interested in taking him for nothing in the pre season draft, and allow him and the Hawks to organise a trade with the Wobbles or Saints.

        Yep, me too.

What's to gain by bringing out this @@@@ anyway?

It would certainly be a reason for any other player who was considering approaching us to stay away.

I'm not anti-Roos (altho' I might be boring). Just wish he'd shut up sometimes & expect to cop a few on the chin without having to clear himself.

Me too. That would mean that the Swans would've won TWO in my lifetime.

There's also a little baggage of Sydney poaching 'rumours' to do with an ex-Bulldog coach that may have prompted him to speak up.

Also, perhaps he's never been directly asked the question re Spida. He also said that he would've taken him last year if he was available.

Spida's made his own bed - effectively he's shat in two of them. I'm glad he won't be @@@@ting in the Swans.

EDIT: Happy that 'shat' passed the sniffer. Mark that one down to experience.
