I don't know what selection criteria Sheahan uses but obviously it doesn't involve watching Swans games.

Even putting aside his quiet first half of the year, Goodes is a bona fide top 10 AFL player. If Steven Johnson makes the top 10 based on a good finals series then Goodes should be there for his second half of the year, let alone his two Brownlows.

If you asked the 16 coaches which player they'd prefer in their side I don't think any would choose Ling.

Not even our friend Catter could justify that.

You can't say someone is better based on one year.

Matt Priddis had a better year than Ben Cousins. Does that make him a better player?

Bartel had a better year than Kerr and Judd, does that make him a better player?

So Dr D, which player would you have, a slow, average disposing tagger , who's red hair is his biggest asset. Or a tall fast skillful ruck rover, who can outrun most, which every team in the league struggle to man up..A player who got his poor performing team to the finals almost single handed??

Jonathan Brown is at No. 2. He is the Coleman medallist and averaged five goals a game for the Brisbane Lions in the last 10 rounds.

Unless your Jonathan Brown where you only have to be good for the last 10 games to be #2 in the whole comp!

Seems a bit inconsistant to me to say Brown's last 10 games were good enough to make him #2 (They were great games), But Goodesy's weren't good enough (They were sensational) to get hiom in the top 20!!!

To be honest, Goodes wasn't top 10 material for the whole year, but Sheehan needs to be consistant in his rating of players.

Personally, I would have had Goodes in between 10-15 based on his entire year.

Yes. I think Goodes should have been probably in the top 10-20. Top 10 if he'd had a consistent season.

However, Ling is a far better player than some people obviously think.

Or is praising a player from another side mean you are not a Swans supporter? Is criticising everyone who is not a Swan what it takes to be a Swans supporter on RWO?

Do people think Kirk should not have won the B&F because he is a slow tagger with average disposal?

Ling is a good player and its hard for me to say it because i dont rate any player from any other club.Sheehan is an idiot if only he could be consistant.

No I was meaning people on here forget what Judd did early on.

My point was, both Judd and Hodge were outstanding in one half of the year but both were quiet and ordinary in the other half of the year.
