Buchanan and Schneider offered as trade bait

Family in Melbourne rang and said that on the 6:00pm channel 7 news that Schneider and Buchanan are reportedly being offered as trade bait.

Out of the two who would be better to keep and what are their trade values?

I heard them say Schneider, must have missed Monty being mentioned.

I'd keep Buchanan, provided its the 2005-2006 model.

I'd rather keep Schneider than Buchanan.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I'd love to keep both - but having said that, they are both certainly incredibly tradable. See what we're offered, and go from there.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

I think Buchanan would have more value trade wise with other clubs than Schneider and hence I would be more than willing to let Buchanan go if it meant we got a 2nd Round Pick and another player (say Brad Miller off Melbourne for example).

I would think that if we traded one of them, then the other wouldn't be traded as well. So while both are on the table at the moment, I'd expect only one is up for trade and we are just seeing which one gets us the best trade possible.
                  Once was, now elsewhere

If its Amon then why don't we also trade his business partner as a package deal?

I'd rather keep Schneider. Has better skills.

I've heard he struggles for motivation though, not good at all....

They might trade for the T-Shirts but not J Bolton.

Funny you mention Brad Miller, I just read on the AFL trade news that we are "showing a bit of interest" and that "it would have to be a good offer".

I asked this on another thread, but what's he like?

                            Miller ... Not Johnstone.

No, I don't want to lose either of them.
