Jude Bolton is not going anywhere but back to the Swans for hopefully the rest of his career and I am glad that he is staying

Also I am glad that at least they are keeping Buchanan as well

It is sad to see schneids go but if he is not going anywhere with the Swans then maybe a fresh change would help him

Getting Playfair from the cats is ok though

    He is from NSW.

I would have loved to have gotten Lenny Hayes from the Saints. He is also a NSW boy as well

Any chance of getting him next year.He is a tough guy

Just under an hour left to get rid of Jude Bolton. Everyone cross their fingers.

Geelong just traded two players for pick 90, so there is still hope for a Bolton deal!

Everyone gets too carried away with high draft picks and poor depth of draft comments.goodes and hird were low picks..lots of players mature unexpectedly..kirk couldn't even stay on a rookies list!!

I'm happy if we trade JB for anything like that suggested above. Please please please make it happen!

Will there be many left by pick 11 this year. Another wasted Jarred/Jared/Jarrod/Yarrad/Jarrahed year.

I am pretty happy with our trade week - as it stands - little sad to see Schneider go (particularly as was contracted and not initially keen to leave) but overall I like the additions and the potential improvement they make to our structure.

Plus, Roos has effectively put all players on notice to lift their games in 2008 - so maybe that will a little more effort from some in our team...

Hell, I'd even go for Jude and Pick #11 for Pick #5. When you get that far forward in the draft, you are really looking at a talented player who is ready to play pretty much straightaway.

Maybe Jude and pick 26 to to the Dogs for #5?
    Even better

Any first rounder would be acceptable, obviously the higher the better.

Jude + pick 26 to Melbourne for pick 14?

Everybody outside this board would say that it is a crazy deal, Jude could almost get pick 14 itself.

Fact is, Jude is surplus to our needs and fringe players from other clubs are surplus.

The advantages would be we have one less player to delist.

With our list as it stands, Picks 11 and 14 + pick 100 or whatever for Bird, I could live with that.

Thanks Hammo, you've just brightened my day with that suggestion.
