    The Daniel Chick thing

It seems to me that the sacking of Ben Cousins is diverting attention from an ex-player who is much more intimately linked to police investigations:

Chick's car and home were searched by police, who also searched his passenger's house.

Police say they found cocaine, cannabis, methylamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during the search but will not provide further details.

Chick, who was de-listed by the Eagles shortly after the season's end, was not charged by police, but his passenger was charged with possession of cocaine and cannabis.
Police revealed that the questioning of Chick and the passenger led to raids on two homes which uncovered a stash of cannabis, cocaine, methylamphetamines and drug paraphernalia.
The Eagles dumping of Daniel Chick after a season that wasn't significantly different to his 2006 form followed by the latest events raises the question: Did the Eagles know that he had friends in low places but needed him for a finals run? Has the focus on Ben Cousins helped divert attention from the possible suppliers? If Cousins hadn't been involved, the media would be all over the Chick angle like seagulls on a chip.

Has he been given a contract for 08? I thought he was going to get one after Judd left - it would seem unlikely now.
He ate more cheese, than time allowed

Chick was delisted at their B&F dinner.

      Now we know why.

Along with his pal, disgraced ex-west coast player ben cousins, he should be derigistered
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Chick was a known problem child when he crossed from Hawthorn. And if the fights between Chick and Embley( concerning his benders with Cousins) weren't enough to get their heads out of the sand. Then it's pretty obvious...the head is entrenched. Lets not also forget 'the kerr police tapes...swept away. Fletcher flatlining....swept away....etc etc.
Footy results = Numero Uno, Players behaviour = a distant second. As I said in an earlier post, there is a huge conflict of interest for AFL clubs, when their best players transgress. And the Eagles, for all their lip service, appear to be the worst offenders

The AFL should take a good, hard look at itself.

Seriously, I'm trying to keep a straight face.

I met him in March this year. He's a very seedy character, wouldn't of surprised me if he was high when I saw him.

He sounded like he was baked.
