I think so. We have never replaced him or even his type . As a consequence our midfield still has plenty of sausage but lacks the sizzle Willo gave us. Great player.

He really failed in the opportunity that was presented to him. He simply failed to take the opportunity presented by the retirement of Paul Williams. We have desperately missed the fast, long kicking, skillful, out side midfielder. It was Schnieder's for the taking. He simply lacked the application, aerobic capacity, fitness and ticker to become that type of player. We have lacked that player. Hopefully one of the young uns will develop into what we lack. Schnieder had four seasons to develop and didn't. He simply wanted to stay the small goal sneak. Sorry don't need that. Au revoir

Agree with your statement Connolly for the most part when you put it like that.
Im spewing hes gone, though he didnt take his chance up in the midfield which is why I rekon he parted company.
Though to say we dont need a small goal sneak couldnt be further from the truth.
For the Schneider knockers ,27 odd goals will be hard to find elsewhere when we dont kick alot of goals.

We will regret leaving him out. Sure he is no Paul Williams but very few players are.
Plus he is from NSW and that is a plus
