    Injury list

I go into the new (official) Swans website to check the current injury list.

Click onto the 'Season 2008' tab then 'Injury List' tab and what do I get - Injury update for round 21, 2007.

Anyone know where we can get an up-to-date list of players injured and weeks expected to be out for.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

It really is quite amazing that the official site of the most popular football club in the most populated state in Australia could be that bad.

Well if there's no official info anywhere (club site, newspapers etc) it's a bit hard to put it into the list right?

I only get it from the paper/site, so it is only as accurate as the info they supply.

Is there a scratch match (ie interclub) on this weekend, as there was last year? Or are they lining up with a reserves team?

According to the NSW AFL site:

The following NSW/ACT RAMS list will combine with the Sydney Swans in a trial match on Saturday in Sydney.
The match will be played at 10am on Saturday, March 15 at Lakeside Oval (opposite the SCG).
See below the RAMS player list for this weekend's match.J

Joshua Duncan Taylor Duryea Fred Sleeth Jeremy Kirkwood Jordan Foster
Kale Temple Lachlan Pryor Luke Breust Max Wilson Mitchell Frail Nathan Gordon
Ranga Ediriwickrama Rod Beer Scott Reed Stewart Gilchrist Ted Strudwick Xavier McMahon Mitchell Clisby Brodie A'Vard Kris Holman Tim Ruffles Benjamin Jones Michael Johnston Jack Lawson

                    Also from the AFL site:

                    The following players will have a hit out this weekend;

Leo Barry, Ryan Brabazon, Daniel Currie, Nick Davis, Peter Faulks, Tadhg Kennelly, Brett Meredith, Ted Richards, Patrick Veszpremi, Jesse White

It would be great if somone went to this and gave a report on Veszpremi, Meredith and Currie.

Thanks for that Gong. I had no idea this was on. I'm only a few minutes drive away so I'll pop down, alarm clock permitting.

Wow that's half our backline playing this weekend and not match conditioned, ie. Barry, Kennelly and Richards, but then again the Saints have a few playing this weekend too.

                            Injury Update

I use this website for Dream Team purposes and it's pretty good.

No mention of Tim Schmidt, though.
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

Richards won't play this weekend. Still needs another two games in reserves, so a little birdie tells me.

I'll take some $$ on it
