I agree, that artificial lights are so bright these days one can't look too long at them. I can't even stand the new gen power saving ones at home. Thinking of stocking up on the incandescents before the carbon-nazis ban them. On a related note there was some use and discussion of those yellow tinted lenses by cricketers (possibly Oakleys?) which took out the blue light spectrum. Apparently it is like looking at a black & white monitor or viewfinder as opposed to a colour one. One "sees" more detail as it were, without the busy-ness of full colour.

Fair enough, it sounds that it is actually easier to see during the sunny day.
The only times I have trouble with my eyesight is when I am blind
So now we've established that it can be more difficult to see under lights, we'll have to see if it continues to be an issue for Hall.The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.Comment
