You realise speaking well of McVeigh is taboo on this board
Good stuff from Macca, there was a fluff article in the pre-season with the new stoppage coach Mark Stone which suggested they had targeted McVeigh as a player who could be 'attacking' at the stoppages rather than just pure defensive. Signs look pretty good so far.Comment

Finally he seems to have been freed up to get the ball, rather than tag. I still think he made some unforced errors or didn't hit targets that he should have, but overall played pretty well.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I have to admit, he was good tonight apart from some dodgy disposal.

Been very good - his brother took a while so it may be a trait.
Jarrad looks like he wants to stay in the side.Comment

The secret is revealed. He's been given membership of the Young Bloods, at least according to Andrew Stafford
I wonder if he's in the running for the Rising Star nomination this week.Of course, there has been a "Bloods" transfusion of sorts, albeit a limited one. Newcomers Craig Bird, Jarred Moore and especially Jarrad McVeigh were all shining lights for the visitors
