    Nick Davis

Everyone knows, he'll be back into the team for the game against Geelong, but what position?

I liked to see him play at Full-Forward. He is not fit enough for the Half-Forward position. Full-Forward is the way to go, and put Ryan O'Keefe at Centre Half-Forward, which will free up Michael O'Loughlin.

It is a medium sized forward line, but it works for teams like Western Bulldogs.

HF: Eddie Barlow - Ryan O'Keefe - Amon Buchanan
    F: Michael O'Loughlin - Nick Davis - Peter Everitt

That's the forward line I'd like to see.

Everitt wont play. Hopefully Grundy will be back to fill that spot. I'm hoping that Davis will go into the game feeling that he has a point to prove. Hall being out will give him that opportunity. The Geelong crowd hate Davis and that might give him a lift as well. I'm hoping that Davo will fire up big time next Saturday.

By the looks of the last quarter Ed Barlow looks to be the stop gap for Hall at CHF, along with Davis playing out of the goal square.

While it's going to hurt having Hall out for 6 to 8 weeks, it will make us a little less predictable up forward but still having some forward fire power with MOL, O'Keefe, Barlow and Hall.

it will hurt us but Davo seems in good form (granted it is the reserves but 13 goals in two weeks aint bad for anyone). Id like to see him at FF and ROK at chf but ROK is starting to become far too valuable playing in the midfield for that now. It will hurt not having Hall there but last year we played some of our best footy without Hall in the team, including pushing Geelong pretty close down there. If we start next week ok and dont give them a huge head start like we did last year down there, who knows what could happen.

That's right, 13 goals is 13 goals. We need to keep in mind also that he has kicked them against the best teams the Swans fact in the Canberra comp.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

And yesterdays game was a hard, tough game, not the pitty pat we were used to from the last couple of years.
