LRT still sucks

My apologies for the oversight. Well seeing as you weren't at the ground - and didnt see the full picture how can you get on your high horse and have a go at the people who saw it in real time and in the full frame??? - you only saw it on your TV screen. He left his man unmarked on too many occassions which twice resulted in a goal to the dogs, he dropped the easiest of marks which again resulted in a turnover, he cant ruck for love or money, his hand passes often fell short or he used the "hot potato" technique in hand passes to someone under pressure, need I go on??? he has had what, 5 years to develope? and he has not improved in that time. If he plays a good game I and many others will give him praise he deserves (and we all admit he played well in the Grand Final in 05), but if he doesnt - which is more often than not then why shouldnt he cop it? So get back in your box.

He kept Minson to one goal, didn't he? He spent some time on Welsh as well, I'm pretty sure, and Welsh did nothing. The only major blunder I saw was the dropped mark. That sucked. But every player makes mistakes sometimes.

Look, all those things you said are right, but I think you're making far too big a thing of it. Yes, he should cop a bit. He wasn't great. But he was being massacred on this forum, and I thought it was very harsh. He was far from our worst on game day, and yet he is copping all the criticism. Why not criticise Craig Bolton, who was completely owned by Murphy and did nothing around the ground (picked up 18 possessions, but was never damaging with them). Why not criticise Mattner, who was useless on Johnson? Or Everitt, who looked about 80 out there? @@@@, even Matthews is getting more love than LRT. It's ridiculous.

And it doesn't matter if LRT isn't improving, so long as he stays within our best 22, which he still quite firmly is. Maybe that will change by the end of the year, but at the moment, he is well within our best 22.
