Jon Stevens from memory was a good kick at goal but atrocious at hitting a moving target (or was it the other way around?).

At times Spida can turn it over when he tries those 4-foot-off-the ground stab drop punts over about 45 metres. They look great but are often intercepted.
Those who have the greatest power to hurt us are those we love.

Thanks for raising the name 'Rohan Warfe'. I had forgotten all about him and was just getting my life back on track and now look what you have done.

I seriously lost the plot a few times watching him play

        This is a no brainer....
Worst kick ever to play for Swans = Jude Bolton
Worst shot at goal = Jude Bolton
Other than Jude Bolton, Worst kick ever = Dunks
Other than JB, worst kick at goal = Mott (the Hoopeless)
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Your hate of Bolton is making you irrational.
I dont hate him, I just think he should be dropped for consistently poor form.

Arthur Chilcott - 1984-85 - 13 games, 14 goals. Wasn't a bad kick from memory. Wonder what happened to Arthur?

I think your enthusiasm is running away with you a bit.

Career stats of 92.56. You would've watched well over 100 blokes who've been around the goals a bit in their careers, and have worse goalkicking records than that.

I know that goalkicking stats may not fully reflect around-the-ground kicking, but if you were to use clangers, ineffective disposals by foot or any other stat you care to mention, there would be precious little evidence that he's the worst in the current Swans first 22; let alone the worst in the last 45 years!

                Bolton Dunkley Cook et al

Whilst not flash at times Jude Bolton is not the worst kick we have had by a long way. Stephen Taubert was a moderate kick, as was Billy Picken by the time he came to us. I recall Paul Bryce was not flash, as was the go in those days, he was drafted to us with a limp! Troy Cook, Jayson Daniels and Jude Bolton are/were all goers and I feel most coaches prefer a goer to a Nick Davis.

Of course we all love Dunks, he was a true champ but I am afraid he is quite possibly the worst kick I have seen of our long time players.

Michael O'Loughlin, could have cost us a flag, very good player would be a great if he could convert consistently.

477.256 at a conversion rate of 65% over a long career demonstrates a level of consistency. While I agree with you about the 05 GF, to include Magic in a worst ever thread is slightly unfair.

I was at a pre-season game at Macquarie Uni where Dunkley took a great mark 15 metres out & managed to send his kick out on the full. Everybody groaned. I thought it was funny.
