Surely Barlow will come in for Malceski?

Hate to see Kennelly and Mattner in the BPs - hopefully they don't play there.

Can't believe LRT is still at CHF - what a waste.

    Very strange team structure overall.

perhaps we are trying to lift the talent levels in the reserves, they will be better by foot than the seniors soon.

There are better people to drop, lrt playfair etc

cant be good for his confidence even if he is a late inclusion

Playfair is a slow running, slow thinking, journeyman, bit player.
How he gets a run ahead of a mobile, fast running, excellent kicking Barlow(assuming not injured), is astonishing. Particularly after Roos came out and said he wanted good kicks in the side. Obviously just more of Roos double speak gobbly gook.

Bolton aint giving up his photos for anyone. I suspect Benny Mathews passed his to Playfair on his way out the door this week.

            Out: Mathews
Whatever he is smoking, he needs to smoke a lot more.

            Then maybe we'll see.....

Yeah, I must agree, Playfairs sellection is a lot easier to take knowing Mr Mathews won't be there.

I'm disappointed Barlow is out, but really, he hasn't done that much this year. We need him to be a key forward, but he isn't quite there yet. I thought he should learn on the job, but maybe Roos wants to send him down to the 2s and let him spend two or three whole games as a FF/CHF, and bring him back after that. I don't like it, but I can certainly understand where Roos is coming from.

again...where they name them is not where they play!

As for Barlow, I think he has been ordinary this year. A good run in the reserves may teach him where to run to find the ball.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Maybe its just for matchups or more likely because of the forcast weather

Ah matchups. The coaches fall back excuse for wrong selection
                            and defeat.

i thought the last quarter of the dogs game barlow was the one creating scoring opportunities by getting it in quickly and long to micky o, i guess that is against swans policy to play attacking footy
