The Fox commentary in the Port-Swans (Round 9) game was without a shadow of doubt the most bias National broadcast I have heard in many years. The point is that the focus, particularly via Tony Shaw, was on Port, Port, and if there was any breaks, Port again.
Shaw and Liam Pickering constantly commented upon the Port's quality play, occasionally on Port's errors, and often on umpiring decisions that went against....well Port of course. Very very rarely were the Swans ever mentioned.
You would have thought that the game was being broadcasted strictly for a South Australian audience. But no, the game was broadcasted for a national audience, including New South Wales. If the AFL are realistical about developing the game in Western Sydney, it might help their cause by ensuring that the broadcasters who paid them so much money show a bit of objectivety, and remember that there are TWO teams playing the game.

was rattling on like a lunatic today and was as biased as anyone i've ever heard, but i don't think Robert Walls is like that. To me he is fairly objective and i would even say complimentary about the Swans.
