Eagles voice doubts over Malceski's knee

This is what Sumich had to say:

Did anyone go to training at Subi last night? Is he talking @@@@ or is there some truth in this?
If the siren sounds in Tasmania, and the umpires don't hear it, does it make a sound?

He's most likely foxing and playing mind games.

Maybe their jealous that Malceski is back playing footy while Mitch Brown will be out for the year after having the conventional reconstruction.

        I agree.

The only thing I wondered about was Malceski's match fitness on a big ground, but I doubt that would be apparent in training.

Hard ground - fast open spaces, Can't understand why you would want to play, we might even get good consistant bounce and have a fairly level playing surface to play on. (hopefully no holes to fall into.........) Is it planned to be dry in the west?

Suggest that a week off would be a non essential criteria.

Roosy / coaching staff may call a desiable late change if he is sore after training?

          I would guess playing.

I have a problem with this concept: Sumich + mind games. Surely the two are mutually exclusive.

I mean, one must have a mind in order to play games with it.

                If the unnamed Swans source
                scoffed
at the suggestion - I'd say it's probably true.

I just fell to the floor that you actually agree with me.

Or, perhaps, he's hinting that Malceski's knee might get a special attention by WCE players, making sure Malceski is taken out early in the game.

I wouldn't be surprised if they used illegal tactics. Wouldn't be the first time either.

Just make the players wear Barry Hall masks and watch them squib.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

Roos was on 2ue sports today this evening. He said mal pulled up a little sore, but had nothing to do with his knee. He said it often happens at training that if a player pulls up a bit stiff, they just take them out of training. He went on to say that this was the benefit of closed training sessions as nobody notices them doing this on a regular basis. He said away games make it difficult especially when the eagles offices over look the ground.

Thanks - good info.... I was concerned as Mal's knee was mentioned on TEN's news last night - most likely they were building on that Herald Sun article.
