    The Swan in Winter

    I know a lot of contributors to this Messageboard will think I am being very trivial here. However, I have to state that the Swans' Round 11 victory at Subi was the first time EVER that Sydney has beaten West Coast during the winter months. The only ever wins since 1987 in the west were in calender months April and September.

          If you were a 21 year Swans supporter living in Perth, believe you mean, it IS a big deal.

          Also,nice to also read such a polite and courtesy response to what was after all a rather innocuous Thread.

                  The information shows just how hard it is on this road trip.

                  Just Ask Adelaide who were full of confidence two weeks ago!

                  Makes this win even more a gutsy set up for the rest of the season.

                  Its wins like this that create that top 4 chance.

                                                  177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....
