    Ablett or Judd

Who is better if both are fit?

After this year, I think I would choose Ablett, the guy is just a machine. The way he gets the ball, uses the ball is second to none.

Ablett. I think he uses the ball a bit smarter than Judd does, and his disposal (to me at least) is a lot better.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

@@@@, what is full fitness? How do we know Judd hasn't been struggling with niggling injuries all year? How do we know Gablett hasn't been either? Right now, I would prefer Ablett to Judd. That's all that can be said right now.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Ablett by some margin at the moment. Judd's main weapon is his devastating acceleration from traffic. Goodes doesn't do it as often and probably isn't as quick but he's learning to use his burst better and better and is probably slightly stronger than Judd too. So while Judd is still the best at that trick, we've got someone who does it nearly as well. Ablett, on the other hand, is showing tricks that no-one else in the league has.

I reckon a harder question ATM is Ablett or Buddy?

Ablett easy. Still not convinced Buddy has the consistency!

Would take Ablett. Buddy is freakish, but you can't rely on him yet to turn it on when you need it. Perhaps that's a by-product of the positions they play though, with Buddy reliant on delivery for the most part while Ablett can win his own ball.

As for the original question. Right now Ablett by a long way. But I'm still not convinced Judd is 100% fit. In spite of that though, he is leading the comp in Contested Possessions...

            I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Gablett, Simpson (NM) said on a radio interview that he (GA) was so elusive that they decided to stop trying to tackle him, and just attempted to corral him. His sidestepping his just awesome, he is the best escape artist from traffic and the surest ball handler in the comp and the most efficient user of the ball IMHP.
