Sensational, however I reckon there was something in it. He didn't look like he was out for the bump and there was inconclusive evidence that maybe he was just running past the contents as Selwood fell to ground.

That's my didgy theory and I'm sticking to it.

I'm going on the reason that maybe the points didn't carry over like people assumed. But take the damn thing Goodsey.

Boy he's lucky. Really wasn't much in it but compared to the sentences other head high contacts have received...

Yeah, even though there wasn't much in it, I just assumed he'd get a week or two (even allowing for the carry-over points expiring) because of the new rules regarding head-high contact, where any contact with the head is automatically deemed to be front-on (or something like that - someone posted a diagram taken from the rule book on BF after the Burgoyne incident).

I'll take it though!! The protected species lives on!

I like the way the MRP has gone contrary on this. They started to get a reputation of blanket anti-head contact and then this one pops up and we ALL guessed wrong including media/experts etc.

                          GO THE MRP!

Saying that though, he is extremely lucky once again and now really has to control his temper when dealing with a hard tag. Cannot stress this further. If he pulls @@@@ like this again in round 22, they will throw the book at him.
