Based on "the bogey side factor":

Melbourne at Manuka - win - can't beat them at home but do better away. 8-3 under Roos. (+5 Bogey score)
Collingwood at ANZ - loss - have trouble beating Collingwood anywhere since 2005. 3-5 under Roos (-2 Bogey score)
Hawthorn at MCG - win - 3 losses then six wins in a row under Roos (+3 Bogey score)
Carlton at TD - win - 8-0 under Roos, streak goes back 10 games to R14 2001 (+8 Bogey score)
Adelaide at SCG - loss - 1-7 under Roos (-6 Bogey score)
Western Bulldogs at Manuka - win - 5-2 under Roos (+3 Bogey score)
Fremantle at SCG - win - 7-2 under Roos (+5 Bogey score)
Geelong at ANZ - loss - 5-4 under Roos, but Geelong are a monster side this year. (+1 Bogey score)
    Collingwood at TD - loss
Brisbane at SCG - win - 9-3-1 under Roos, ignoring the drawn game, last loss was R1 2004 (+6 Bogey score)

All to reasonable. I would take it if you can convert one or two of the Pies into wins. Throw in Adelaide as well, it would be good to beat them for once.

I can?t help but be reassured that the Swans nearly always improve in the season half of the season. The last time they won fewer games in the second half was in 1999, when they won just one less game in the second half compared with the first half.

Call me an optimist, but I am predicting that they will win 8 games out of the last 10, (leaving 16-5-1, exactly the same record as 1996 in both the first half of the season, the second half of the season, and obviously the entire season)

Melbourne at Manuka - win ? Jude?s 200th. The players and coaches know it?s an important game, noting the tough second half draw.

Collingwood at ANZ - win ?We?re due, (although I did say that last year at least twice). Collingwood currently appear tired..too many big occasion games. It is also time for the Swans to win in front of a big Sydney crowd, (estimated 70,000 plus for this game)

Hawthorn at MCG ? loss. They?re a very good side. The game is in Melbourne, and they will have the advantage of an extra week?s break. There will be a great challenge for the defenders to stop Buddy.

Carlton at TD - win ? They will be hungry, having not won against the Swans since way back in 2000 when Kouta was in his prime. It should be a great game. The key is not to underestimate them, as I believe teams have in the recent past.

Adelaide at SCG ? win- This is another team where we are due. Packed SCG pro Sydney crowd will assist

Western Bulldogs at Manuka - win ? If the Swans seriously desire a flag or close to a flag, we must show that we are as good as teams like the Bullies.

Fremantle at SCG - win ?God only knows if we will be playing the Dockers or the Shockers. They will be dangerous during the second half of the season. That said, they haven?t won in Sydney since 1996!

Geelong at ANZ - loss ? Another big crowd, (75,000?), and another big occasion. I think they will be just too good.

Collingwood at TD ? win- I agree that the Pies are better suited to the MCG compared with TD. I have very happy memories of the last TD game between these two sides back in Round 6 2003, when (recent Pie transfer) Nick Davis kicked the sealer, and the Swans won in a major upset.

Brisbane at SCG - win ? Swans always win in Round 22, particularly at home. You have to go way back to 1997 when there was a record crowd of 46,000 at the SCG against Geelong , before you find a Round 22 home game where Sydney lost. (Putting it prospective, it was the night before Princess Diana died)

I don't normally like predicting but I am going to:
          Melbourne: Win
          Collingwood: Win
          Hawks: Win
          Carlton: Win
          Adelaide: Win
          Dogs: Win
          Freo: Win
          Geelong: Win
          Collingwood: Win
          Lions: Win

Huge ask and all predicated on the boys showing up at the first bounce with their game face on.

I really like the guts and toughness that they are playing with right across the park - everyone is playing really committed footy.

I think we can beat the Pies this year at ANZ. They aren't the same team as last year, Rusling is out so won't play his rare 'blinder' against us, no Buckley and Rocca almost finished.

I don't think it's a huge ask. The way they've been playing they can only get better, right?? (Yes, they can go the other way, but we're not thinking about that for a minute.)

I predicted 11th at the beginning of the year ... and I'm glad they're making me eat my words.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

In summary so far the majority of impartial football experts on this site agree that the Swans are likely to win all games up to the finals.

Then it gets a little tougher but we still believe they should go through undefeated.

I believe these experts may be correct!
