    Under The Radar

I have to say I'm just about over the under the radar nonsense. It started in 05 and has never stopped. I realise melb journos and TV people are viccentric, but surely this constant, annual copout is just laziness!
Smith just dropped it again tonight on AFL teams on Fox...how bloody tiresome..AND it softens his already weak credibility!

I thought exactly the same thing when that peanut said it.

If sports commentators didn't have cliches they'd have to think.

Good God, even the nuffnuffs on BF are calling us likely grand finalists.

Its great to win 5 (hopefully soon to be 6) in a row but I'll be more excited when we beat a top team.

If our draw was shuffled and we had 3 wins out of 5 against top 8 teams rather than 5 out of 5 against bottom 8 teams - which is better form and which is more evidence of us being a threat?

Anyway I think our form has been good but I hope it translates into good performances against the better teams.

Totally agree regarding the standard of the teams we have beaten.

The second half of this season will be the real test for us. Forget mentioning top four or grand final until we have played the hawks, pies , geelong , adelaide, the dogs etc etc . We lose more than 3 or 4 of these games and it is probably good bye top four and therefore good bye grand final.

Despite the excitement about the Hawks and the Dogs, Geelong are still the powerhouse team with little sign of weaknesses.
