    Dal Santo, the Aints Davis

Is Dal Santo the Saints version of our St Nick?

Lyon last night indicated that Dal Santo and Milne had been omitted ? and replaced by debutants for tonight's game against Fremantle ? for failing to reach benchmarks in the areas where the players have chosen to be judged.
Dal Santo had only one tackle against the Swans,
just adds fuel to the fire that Lyons is trying to make the Aints more like the Swans.
Well, I suppose their could be worse teams to emulate.

    Why wouldn't he??

We have been much more successful than them in the last 10+ years.

Except he's turned a fairly attacking and skilful side into a team which can't score and forgotten how to win!

Surely they will beat the Dockers, great value on the TAB the Saints (that is if they win!)

St.Kilda knew how to win in the first place?

Yep - amazing how the Saints had the potential to win a flag under a crappy coach (Thomas) and have now deteriorated significantly in just a couple of years.

Offer them Jude Bolton in trade week.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I thought we should have done that last year. Jude's improved this year (about time!!), but I suppose it would've just meant the difference between getting a 1st- vs a 2nd-round pick, depending on which 2 premiership players we traded. (assuming of course we had to get rid of 2 to make room on the list/under the salary cap)

I'd take the recently dropped Dal Santo over the recently improved Jude, I must admit. Goody Stella would hate me for it, but I do like the cut of Dal Santo's jib.

That may be for the best thing for Nick, and it's certainly something I thought may have happened when Lyons first went down there.

But the offer is Jude for Dal Santo, I think it's a fair enough trade as far as both team's needs go. They get the seemingly more commited and we get the seemingly more talented player.

Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...
