    Lost point

    Absolutely disgusting decision today.

Made no difference to the game but a rushed behind was not counted for us because the field umpire did not give the all clear. The AFL needs to move into the 21st century.

not to mention the goal that was judged as touched, that was clearly a goal.

The umpires were all together awful. This bungle simply highlights how incompetent they were. The thinking behind the decision to say Mattners goal was touched is beyond me.

that was the one that got me anniswan. Not saying it would of but it could of finally kicked us into gear in the 3rd quarter as it was a great play by Mattner. No way in hell was it touched or did it touch the post (As the commentators tried to use an excuse for the goal umpires @@@@@@ up). Dreadful decision indeed as was the behind call but meh just perfect to complement our terrible night.

The goal umpire didn't think it was touched, he thought it missed. The umpire came straight in to question the decision because it clearly went thru for a goal and he could see it, as could everybody in the Noble who went berserk.

The field ump obviously knew it was a goal, why can he not overrule it ???

You can always make a case for frees for and against in play but for the field umpire and 2 boundary umpires to miss that goal and for the umpire to not acknowledge a clear point is inexcusable. I don't know that I have ever seen a score not acknowledged by an umpire, and umpire Kieran Nicholls I believe it was. A bet the umpire responsible doesn't get dropped. Geish will say an honest mistake. What if the game was decided by a point.

On TV they showed front and back shots and clearly it was over the line and the goal umpire was in perfect position. Back to the bush son. It's a long taxi drive to Kaniva.

Probably as bad an umpiring exhibition you could see. Did you notice the point we got in the last Q did not get posted by Fox Footy, then they said something about the point in the previous Q not being given. Who knows what the final score was.

Is that right? He was in perfect position to see it, but still got it wrong, the world saw it was a goal. Correct the field umpire and for that the boundarys should have done something. We've seen boundary umpire opinions over rule a goal umpire decision before, but quickly back peddled on this one.

                Weird stuff.

I was right behind it - goal umpire called it a behind but the field umpire thought it was a goal ... they consulted with the boundary umpires and decided on a behind.

                  IT WAS A GOAL!!!

I would bet my life on it - we could see it so clearly and there's not a chance in hell it was a behind and it didn't even look like hitting the post - the umpiring is appaling and ridiculous!!

When the ball went thru, the goal umpire thumped his chest, as they do, in preparation to award a behind. The field umpire then rushed in before he had a chance to signal and they had their little meeting. I'm under no doubt the field umpire was asking the goal umpire was he absolutely sure it missed because he thought it had gone thru. After the meeting, the goal umpire obviously won the argument and awarded the behind.

He didn't signal touched and he didn't signal a poster. He just @@@@@@ up and the field umpire knew it and allowed it to happen.

It was when we were going to the left of screen. Rutten rushed a behind and the Crows brought it back in straight away.

The one where Barry spills the mark in front of the Messenger stand and Rutten nonchantly rushes it over?

You need an all clear for that!?
