The Eddie Betts 'poetry in motion' deviation as he runs goalward to slam home another one against the Doggies today seems in possession of only the instinctive players. That little swerve leaves the chaser sprawling in death deathlike throes as his opponent sprints beautifully away from any tackle. It's something every rookie should practice and it's not rocket science.
