        Oh FFS......

Don't know about his ability, but he sure has got all the cliches nailed...

"You've got to put everything into it, all the time."
"But it is only one part of the puzzle and I've got to keep going."
"Making the All Australian team is one of the proudest things you can do," he said.
"It doesn't matter how good you are, you've got to keep stepping up to play AFL.
"It was a big achievement that I was striving for and it's paid off.
Think he missed the old "Taking it one week at a time" but some excellent form early on in his career...

Some of those aren't really cliches. The one about the All Australian team is a pretty fair comment, I would think.

Needs to take a long hard look at himself.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Not giving 110% either. Clearly not made of the right stuff.

OK, then that DOES make him the son of Harry Potter, reporter.

Who should have given him some tips clicheing his way to the top.

Sure, the kid's got some good cliches, but he's no match for "Six-Goal" McVeigh:

"I just got lucky a few times I suppose."
