    Last Roll of the Dice

    When you're right, you're right.

The last roll of the dice.

Barry wants to play hard and fair ....

    Play fair but play hard
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Bit less time writing crap columns and a bit more time practicing set shots will help Barry....

Interesting to read the storey and realise that the players are thinking about lots of things while they are out on the field.

Read a book recently with an article by Glenn Archer where he said he was scared before every game that his team mates and the fans might see him shirk a contest - so that fear motivated him not to take a short step.

If you are worried about what the tribunal is going to review every time you enter a contest - Thats what Barry has to get clear in hiis mind - Natural hard, solid to the ball is what he needs to do.
Carry on from the second half last week with new confidence.

Goodes was possibly the same with thinking what might come of an action so not going in as he normally would.

Hope both players have regained confidence for the rest of the year.

Surely it is ghostwritten....... far too smarmy to really be Hall's view on anything.

And it uses punctuation and words and everything.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

He confuses being suspended for striking someone with being suspended for playing hard footy. I don't think anyone would be on his case if he transgressed in a similar way to Buchanen, because it is incidental or possibly reckless contact. Punching someone is a different thing altogether.

So, I think Barry's article makes little sense, particularly when you consider he managed to play hard without punching people for such a long period before he hit Staker.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.
