A lot of Westies only go to Homebush games and even though we face a likely thrashing, people may want to see Geelong play and still harbour a small hope that we might cause an upset at home. Given current form and the Olympics on TV, I reckon 48,438.Occupational hazards:

I don't think things will be that low, but I do think the Olympics will take away lots of casual wavering match-attendees. We struggled to get 20000 through the gates after losing a few games last week. Can't see people wanting to jump back onboard, especially since the Olympics are taking up most of the media's attention & hyping up the game is all the more impossible.
Sydney FC-Melbourne Victory may also take a few of these away as well. SFC-MVFC is the biggest match in the league & the rivalry on both sides is raw.Several of my gang have to decide which game they'll be at on Saturday night.
Would be happy with 40-45000 at the Swans & 18-20000 & Sydney FC.
