I would only get Kosi as a ruckman. He had a purple patch a month or so ago and everyone jumped back on. His last couple have been ordinary and they are sinking the boots in again.

For mine he is a ruckman only, where he has the luxury of not being manned up, as a forward he is a genuine Big Girls Blouse.

Your more likely to get a better draft pick for Ablett (say) at that time then you are in this years trade week.
I reckon you're spot on about this, and people are panicking unnecessarily about the access to young players drying up for the existing 16 clubs.

At the moment most clubs seem to over rate draft picks, shown by their unwillingness to trade. People scoffed at Sydney for the picks they were prepared to give up for Jolly and Richards but to date I think that Jolly vs Dunn and Richards vs Dempsey shows that the Swans have got more value out of those picks than the clubs they traded them to. Sure, Dempsey and Dunn are younger and not fully developed by only a brave man or a fool would confidently predict that their careers will give more value over a longer period of time than the Swans will get out of Jolly and Richards over a slightly shorter period.

When GC and WS come in, they will have so many picks that each will be of less perceived value at draft table and you'd have to think they will be less anal about over valuing the potential of who they might pick up with, say, pick 14 over the known value of a seasoned, consistent senior player.

Sometimes it's hard to say with players. I wouldn't trade Moore for anything less than a 1 draft pick or a proven 100 gamer. Grundy can go as far as I'm concerned and Spida should retire. NOG, well who knows, trade him, gets his form back and kills us one day. Still you have to turn over so many at years end by law so someone will have to bite the bullet somewhere. If Leo's hammies are gone what will he do? Is Ablett carrying injury? We need some height and size in the backline I know that much. Marty has been a great pickup, our recruiters are fantastic and they will make the right decisions at years end
