    The Jack Pedigree

    Hi all,

I thought it would be cool for Swans people who aren't familiar with the extended Jack family to be able to see some of the genetics that young Keiren has inherited. So, I have assembled a brief highlights movie of Garry Jack. It really doesn't do him justice, but it's better than nothing. Hope you enjoy it!

    YouTube - Garry Jack, Legend.

    Cheers,
    Jon

Not being a follower of league at all, I had no idea Jack was that quick. Mind you, several of the players on that reel have far more explosive acceleration than practically any AFL player, probably because they train and are built to be more power athletes than the endurance focus of AFL players. The quicker AFL players probably are as quick but most of them seem to glide into their pace rather than explode into it.

I'd actually forgotten he was that quick too. After seeing young Crackers perform, I got keen and revisited some old footage. When you look at Jack senior standing still, he doesn't look like he'd be a speed machine...

I'm really excited to think of the memories that Keiren is going to produce for us. I'm just waiting for that game when he absolutely fires!
